How we can control negative effects of deviance on society?

Ans:

Negative deviance is when a person gets involved in behaviour which

under conforms to the accepted norms.It involves behaviour that fails to

meet accepted norms.

Effects of negative deviance can be controlled by the following

procedures:

 Rehabilitation

 Social control

In Rehabilitation , such persons are reformed and changed.It is done by

raising significant awareness of norms and ethics of the specified

society.

In social control, relationships, commitments, norms , ethics and beliefs

are used to keep such persons from committing any crime or breaking

rules and regulations.
